A. Yes! We have outfitted entire casts for High School, College and Community Theater Productions. We have thousands of pieces in stock and our inventory is constantly expanding. With our sustainable fashion approach, we source heavily from post-consumer pieces that we modify to create pieces that will fit your show. Plus we have the skill and resources to craft pieces from scratch when needed.
A. Yes! We want to help you complete the look of your show even if that means we only do a character or two or help out with a chorus number. We love to work with a director to craft a one-of-a-kind piece for the Lead’s “big number.” But on the other hand we have loads of basics that can help you complete a scene. Need dozens of Newsboy caps? We have them! Need a white shirt and black bow tie for every guy in your cast? We can help with that! Contact us and let us know what you need.

A. A. We are centrally located in downtown Decatur, Alabama just minutes from I-65, US Highways 31 and 72 and AL Highway 20. For theatrical productions we serve all of North Alabama and southern Central Tennessee. If you’re outside that area – or you’re not sure if you’re in or out – please contact us. We love costuming theater productions so don’t assume you’re too far away.
A. At Melodee Designs we want to be the resource that best fits your needs. That starts with the foundation of our service - the consultation. We will meet with you in person, by phone or video chat to discuss your project, what you need and how you see Melodee Designs involvement. Whether Melodee Designs measures the cast and creates the whole look of your show or a few stock pieces are delivered to you is up to you. By tech week you will have everything you need sorted, labeled and with a detailed packing list in hand and ready for dress rehearsals.
A. Yes. Simple alterations to fit an actor are allowed. We request that you use methods that are easily reversible so that upon return the garment can be reverted back to its original shape. Any damage done to garments in the course of alteration or any modifications that are not reversible may incur a damage fee.
